Virtue Fence Company does not offer direct financing, but we can refer you to third-party financing sources on a case-by-case basis to help you secure the funds needed to launch your franchise.
Are there ongoing fees?
Yes, franchisees are required to pay a declining royalty fee based on a percentage of gross revenues, or a flat fee (which is waived during the first year of operations). The declining royalty fee starts at 6%, and decreases to 4%, based on gross revenues. These fees support ongoing operations, marketing programs, training, and continued improvements to our systems. Are there advertising fees?
Franchise owners must spend at least $15,000, and up to $25,000, on initial launch marketing campaigns in total during the first three months of operation. Franchisees are also required to spend a minimum of $30,000 annually on local marketing activities. Additionally, starting in Month 4, franchisees will contribute to the brand marketing fund, the greater of $1,500/month or 2% of actual gross revenue (this may increase to up to 3% with prior notice). This fund supports national campaigns and branded materials to promote Virtue Fence Company as a whole.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of the franchise agreement is five years, with three options for renewal in additional five-year terms.
